Gallery 27 is located at 27 Cork Street, immediately next door to The Gallery in Cork Street.
Gallery 27 has been completely refurbished to create an intimate space for the display of old, modern and contemporary art. Its mood is traditional, warm and spacious yet very contemporary in feel. Its special characteristics are enhanced by the antique listed window frontage which is used to full advantage with the addition of a special raised window display area. Another particular feature is the depth and height of the space which is perfect for the display of all forms of two- and three-dimensional art. From the ground floor of the gallery an inviting designer staircase leads down to a spacious lower ground floor, very suitable for more intimate works of art.
Gallery 27 comprises 101 square metres (1,086 sq ft) of display area and 50 linear metres (164 ft) of wall hanging space. The display area is versatile, being divided into a ground floor (51 square metres, 548 sq ft) and a lower ground floor (50 square metres, 538 sq ft). A private office/storeroom, kitchen and cloakroom are also provided.
